The Ashe County Cheese Factory is open to visitors year round with a viewing room to see how cheese is made and a gift store. The gift shop has over 50 assortments of freshly made cheese, gift baskets, souvenirs, fresh cheese curds, ice cream, and country butter. The schedule for making cheese changes frequently.
