Beech Mountain Ski Resort
Beech Mountain Ski Resort is located in Banner Elk NC just 24 miles from Boone NC. Ski Beech peeks 5,505 feet above sea level, earning it the title of “highest ski resort in Eastern North America.” The base elevation of this NC Mountain ski slope is at 4,675 feet above sea level, making the vertical drop 830 feet. With 95 acres of skiable terrain and 15 slopes, Ski Beech has a slope that is right for everyone. The beginner slopes make up 30% of the terrain while the intermediate runs make up 40% of the terrain, leaving the remaining 30% for the advanced skiers.
