The living room has huge windows that look out over the extraordinary views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. A View to Remember has a gas grill located on the deck for preparing that perfect meal. The kitchen is also well equipped for cooking a gourmet candlelight dinner. About 30-40 minutes away, you can enjoy Moses Cone Park in Blowing Rock, Grayson Highlands in Whitetop Va or The Virginia Creeper Trail, also in Whitetop Va. Horseback riding is available at Burnt Hill Stable or New River Adventures both are about 15-20 minutes away. Canoeing and river tubing are a popular attraction on our scenic New River with rentals available only 15 minutes from the cabin. Other attractions that can be found within 20 minutes from the cabin include Ashe County Cheese, Mountain Aire Golf Course, fishing in our Ashe County stocked trout streams, biking and art galleries. If you travel over into the Boone, Blowing Rock or Banner Elk area, you will find skiing, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, and outlet shopping.
