River and Earth Adventures
River and Earth Adventures offers a wide variety of activities for the adventurous at heart or the laid back tourist. Located at 3618 Broadstone Road in Valle Crucis NC, River and Earth Adventures offers white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, cave exploration, hiking and eco education.
For the adventurous, white water rafting trips are available on class II and III rapids with more than 20 dam controlled rapids on the Watauga river or rafting trips with class III & IV rapids with more than 30 rapids on the French Broad River. If you’re not feeling quite so adventurous, River and Earth Adventures also offers canoe and kayak rentals in Valle Crucis NC and Todd NC. Todd NC canoe trips leave out from Todd General Store where you can package a picnic lunch for the trip. Along with the trip, the guides offer interesting ecological information about the NC Mountains and NC rivers. Enjoy your NC Whitewater Rafting vacation and stay in our Ashe County Cabin Rentals located throughout the beautiful NC Blue Ridge Mountains.
